I assisted in the creative direction of Optimal’s website redesign in 2021. This included vetting prospective contractors for web design, providing creative feedback for the design contractor, and creating a handful of visual assets. I was the website administrator after the new site was published, updating the site’s content and working with web developers in-house along with contractors to improve the functionality.

During my tenure at Optimal, I created multiple semi-abstract icons to help convey different values related to the company’s culture (such as ownership and continuous improvement). Originally starting as thumbnail sketches in a notebook, then turned into geometric vector shapes in Illustrator, these designs were modified and reworked to the point that they all felt cohesive enough as a group while also standing on their own individually.

One of my first big projects at Optimal was creating an ebook and landing page for Mind Shift, a seminar put on by Optimal’s CEO. The event and ebook were focused around using behavioral psychology as a tactic in digital marketing. All materials were meant to evoke a sleek, minimalist tone that also felt personable.

In July 2020, I joined Optimal Digital Marketing as their Brand Marketer. As my role evolved to Content Specialist, I kept up Optimal’s brand with a greater focus on client work. I contributed to the company and their clients through graphic design, web design, print design, ad design, photography, social media content creation, video editing, and creative direction. I also wrote content for the Optimal Blog, managed the Optimal social media accounts, and administered the company's website.
