I’ve been a big fan of music ever since I can remember. My house is filled with vinyl records, speakers, and many colorful concert posters. That said, I have found music to be a great tool for my design process as well as a way to help decompress after the day is done. I have compiled three playlists of music that I find inspiring and helpful. Hopefully other designers and creatives can find use in these as well. All of the playlists include artwork that I have designed with a heavy focus on experimental typography.

Playlist 01 - Ascension is made to help prep your mind to get into the process of creativity, slowly shifting your brain into focus. Think experimental pop with deconstructed club and ethereal, colder ambient tunes mixed in.

Playlist 02 - Strobe is for when your brain is in the zone and needs something to keep your focus going. Taking its name from lights commonly used at dance clubs, this playlist is largely made up of pretty, left field electronic music with rave classics dispersed throughout.

Lastly, when the workday is over, Playlist 03 - Homebody is built to help your creative mind rest after a busy day. Whether you’re cooking dinner or driving home, this mix incorporates cozy folk tunes, warm ambient tracks, and peaceful alternative rock tracks.
